What the hell is this crap?

It seems that many surfers of the Internet are unable to distinguish between factual sources of data and complete nonsense spewed by crazy people who are willing to pay for some hosting and domain registration.

Sure, there are lots of places on the Internet full of information and data from well-established and reputable institutions--but since it's "all on the Internet," then anything that is also on the Internet is viewed as just as reputable of a source of facts for some people.

This is where RealityFacts.com becomes useful. Don't waste your time searching for existing web pages to confirm your preconceived notions... simply create a web page with all of the nonsense you wish to argue is real, and then cite the webpage as proof that you aren't insane when you get into an argument:

"Yeah? NASA's website says the Earth revolves around the Sun, does it? Well... here's a website that says the Sun revolves around the Earth, so there! Clearly both sides merit the same level of consideration when deciding upon the facts for yourself."

Ok, but why troll gullible morons?

If you post enough nonsense as a response to their nonsense, hopefully they will come to realize that simply reading something on the Internet is NOT a good-enough way to get information about the world.
